Quality Check

The purpose of this Quality Check is so that you can download a clip at the same resolution you may purchase one at. You can download and test these clips in your editing program to be sure that they will work the way you want.

The Medium Resolution Videos are best suited for streaming video, powerpoint presentations and medium resolution video projects, and the High Resolution Videos are best suited for high resolution video projects.

The Medium Resolution MPEG clip was shot on a 3-Chip MiniDV camera, and the High Resolution Sorenson was shot on a BetaCamSp camera.

Depending on your computer, the high resolution clip may play slowly in Quicktime. However, inside your editing program it should run smoothly.

To see the quality offered by the medium and high resolution clips, here are two demonstration clips available for download. These clips are watermarked for demonstration purposes. If a clip is purchased, there will be no watermark. To download these clips, right-click on the link and choose "Save Target As..." and choose a proper location for the clip. The high resolution clip requires Quicktime, and the Medium Resolution MPEG can be played in Windows Media Player.
